For my 'choice': 100 Things (of Mine) That Are Missing, Lost or Stolen.



2. My high school class ring. I wore this a lot when I first got it, almost constantly. Like most class rings, you could get all sorts of cool extras and mine was... fairly ordinary but distinctive enough that I thought it was the coolest ring *ever*.

But when I started college/university, I put it up so it wouldn't get wrecked in my chemistry class. (I got out of the habit of wearing rings or any other jewelry then, btw.)

Now I very much fear that it is long gone, probably stolen though I can't be sure. It's been *ages* since I saw it, let alone know where it is. I have a very faint hope that one day I will find it again.

Fwiw, I found out way too late that a couple of my cousins -- especially Donna -- were very prone to -- shall we say -- "borrowing jewelry and other things without permission." Maybe I'm judging her wrongly. But I don't think I am, and it's far too late to prove anything.
