Today's News and Weather Report
Feb. 24th, 2012 08:34 pmToday was: windy + low temps = wind chills. Again. Not bad but I already have a cough, so... I stayed in and did a bit of straightening up and went through some more clothes yet another sack to donate, plus a few other things too. Then I got laundry ready for my trip to the laundromat tomorrow. Thrilling, eh?
I am also working on a meme, which will probably get posted tomorrow.
The cats remain camped on the porch. *sigh* I will be so glad when the weather is nice again so they will stay outside.
No other news for now. Maybe I will feel more motivated tomorrow?
Niters!

Date: 2012-02-26 01:12 am (UTC)The cats on my porch are the ones who simply are too wild (feral) to allow inside.
*hugs*
ooh how nice!
Date: 2012-02-26 01:33 am (UTC)How many do you have?
My parents had 5 cats, one of them decided to move out to look after an old lady across the street, as a single cat, and a kitten from the neighbors' yard hurried to take his place.
I only have one indoor cat, who is 11 months old and who sleeps on top of me on my furry blanket.

Date: 2012-02-26 09:37 am (UTC)Because if they get all the vet care and the hoomin love they need, all is fine.
And they do need a small place to call their territory and not feel crowded.
My parents have a huge house in which all of our cats can choose to not meet if they so want. But they are allowed outside as well, and they can roam the gardens, the hill behind them , the cemetery and the nearby mountain if they see fit.
And they are not hoarding. I think word has got out among cats that some exceptionally stupid and generous hoomins live there and they keep coming and not leaving again. There is a grey and white kitten who just started to come to our home at feeding time and he then kind of stuck around for good.
