Interesting list. I've actually seen about 50 of those, and because I've seen one or two in a series doesn't mean I've seen all of them. *g*

I suppose by putting the whole list for each series, people who look at your post will get an idea of whether the sequels lived up to the first one based on whether you saw all of them or not.

There are a number of series where I saw the first one, and then didn't see any of the subsequent ones, and most telling of all, for the Star Wars franchise, I've seen them all except the last one, which was just too stupid and strained my willingness to suspend disbelief to the point where it shattered into a million pieces. (and just so we're clear, I did not see either of the Ewok movies)

I loved the middle three Star Wars movies. I must have seen them dozens of times. And I remember I was so eager for the next (first) three... but tbh, it took too long for them to come out, and then they just seemed... fair. Ok. Not fun or cool or anything like that. :( I couldn't get back into the series and it makes me sad.

Most of the series ('Saw' and that ilk) listed just make me cringe. There is no way I can even watch the trailers, let alone the film itself.

Yeah, episodes 1, 2, and 3 were not a patch on episodes 4, 5, and 6 in the Star Wars series. It strained my credulity to try and make me believe that Padme would hook up with someone who was NINE when she met him, and then later when Lucas turned her into a whining, sniveling sap after having her be so strong in the first one, well, that just lost me completely. He obviously went quite bonkers while writing episodes 1, 2, and 3.

I'm with you. No way in HELL would I watch any of those gore movies.

WOW - as you said, our lists are almost identical.

Hehe, I've seen 124 of these movies. If I subtract the ones I never wanted to see but was forced to watch then it's still over 100 I think. Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg of ALL movies I've seen which is in the 1000s. Gotta love Netflix!

I've seen thousands of movies but you'd never guess it from this list. Someone needs to design a better list, one that is more typical of what people actually watch.
