Weather Has Cleared

Well, the weather has cleared for now. All we got was some rain and a bit of wind (so far, that is.) Though I do think that there was some tornado activity brewing in all that wind and rain that never 'became' a tornado, if that makes sense. Why? Because my cats and my little dog were totally freaking out. (Their faces are super-sensitive radar screens -- they can see, hear, and smell things that we can't even guess at.) Now usually storms don't bother them too badly even though they don't like them very much. But this time, there was mass panic in the form of racing, leaping (and barking) all over the living room when usually they just crawl underneath something and hide until the weather clears. Then they show up looking for noms, skritches and pettins.

But yeah, all is quiet and they have decided to take overdue naps.

It really was a pretty nasty line of storms that rolled through yesterday. Yikes!
