My cat decided she was starving (in other words, her fresh can of food was late by approximately one minute), and so she decided to wake me up by tap-dancing on my kidneys. Owwwie, and ugh. How can a 5-6 lb. cat suddenly increase its body density to... oh, idk -- to about 10x that? No idea. It's right up there with the experiment of "can cats fly?" when you hit the can opener; the answer is no, they can't fly since they don't have wings but they can move at something approaching warp speed, or maybe they teleport through some mysterious feline ability. Again, no verifiable scientific proof may exist but believe me, *they can, and they do.* Maybe I should write in to Mythbusters and see if they will film an ep to explore this phenomenon. I barely made it to the bathroom in time, and now I feel half-sick. Even worse, it's a nice day today and I need to finish laundry and oh yes, errands in Hastings if possible.

I did give her a stiff talking to but she remains unrepentant.

*snicker* This is all so very true. Cats are mysterious creatures.

Hope you feel better soon, Sam!

Heh, yes. It's definitely true about cats, isn't it?

I'm feeling a bit better this morning, thank you.
