Today's News and Weather Report

I have been watching the news about (hurricane) Earl, and oddly enough, it makes me miss Donna even more. She would always call me and discuss each hurricane and I really miss her commentary on Earl since she lived in NC and spent most of her life on the Outer Banks. She spent her life along the Eastern Seaboard -- or at least every state south of VA. She had to evacuate twice, because of hurricanes Andrew and Hugo. As for Katrina -- well, maybe some other day I will talk about our discussions of Katrina. But not today.
Today will be spent running errands that should have been done yesterday, if the appointment hadn't canceled at the last minute.
