la_samtyrIt is still bitterly cold. Supposedly it will begin to warm up tomorrow and more by next week. We'll see. Right now I am busy watching the Eastern Seaboard get clobbered by snow. I am also teasing my Chicago cousins about the earthquake they had earlier (no, New Madrid did not 'pop'); I think anyone not living in CA (or some other earthquake zone) should get bonus points if they feel an earthquake. XD
I am trying to decide what sort of food to fix right now. I am not overly motivated by any recipes but I imagine I will end up making potato soup and adding a few mushrooms since I need to use up the potatoes on hand and then buy some fresh. There is a good sale on for 5 lbs. for $1, which is as low as I have seen them in some time.
