A Letter! :)

Oh yeah, today was a really *good* day! I love getting letters (and postcards, hint hint) so I'm happy! Yes, believe it or not, there are still a few of us who write *real* letters. Pen and paper, envelope and stamp -- I feel it to be something of a status symbol, myself. With so much communication being handled either by telephone (cell phones and text messaging included, don't ya know?) or by computer: e-mail, IM, etc. etc., I don't think it's too much of a stretch calling it a nearly forgotten art. Also, today was nice and a bit warm even, which made things even better. I am going to have to turn up the furnace though; I usually do right before I got to bed. I never have understood why have the furnace on in the day when you're up and around anyway. I want to sleep warm--if I get chilled at night, I'm almost sure to get a cold. Or the sniffles, at the very least.
