Not much but it was *something* anyway. Unfortunately the car is still majorly fucked up. First, it wouldn't start. At All. Had to call Sam for a jump. When I went to back out of the drive, it died. Another jump. Started for Hastings and noticed I didn't have turn signals but the radio was ok so I hoped for the best. Figured if I drove it long enough it would build a charge so I could get there and back. Got as far as Hiway 6, had to wait for some semis to go past, and it died. Called Sam again for a third and final jump, turned around and just left it at home. So... I had to get Linda to take me into Hastings. Gah. Spent way the fuck more than I should have and needless to say, didn't get to do what I *wanted* to do, which was to catch a BBM matinee. Instead, I rented "Day After Tomorrow" w/AJ, so the trip wasn't a total loss. LeeAnn was (is) miffed cause she didn't get her ride. Hopefully tomorrow Ol' Sam will give me another jump so I can at least drive her to the store and back. If only I had the damned *money* for a newer car! Damn Mom anyway for being such... oh hell, she just was not all there these last few years but no-one would have ever believed me, she could always rally just enough to fool people. Thus I usually ended up looking like a worthless, ungrateful BadDaughter (Which I am anyway.) She absolutely refused to believe how badly we *needed* (ok, *I* needed) a newer, more reliable car. *SIGH* So now I am stuck w/junked-out, blue-booked out, worthless cars that are barely hanging together. Ol' Sam is doing a great job of keeping them together and running but these cars are terminal, he can't keep doing it forever and we both know it. Not his fault. They're just gonna nickel and dime me to death now. Especially since I can't even get in to Hastings w/any sense of security! Too say nothing of me being cut off from Kearney! My puppies! I wanna see 'em so fucking bad.... >:( Ok, enough ranting. I am off to bed, especially since one of my favorite Ygroups keeps "disappearing". Worst of all, it's my favorite BBM one, and I'll never catch up on the posts at this rate. Just hope Y hasn't decided to get rid of it or something equally heinous.
