Halloween Movie meme

Yes, I know. Another oldie. It was remade into a tv-movie in 1985 and it's not that bad. The main difference is in the ending for the movie because it was adapted from a novel (and was a Broadway play before it was made into a movie.) In 1956 the Hays Code was strongly enforced, so the movie had to change it to comply with the Code. In 1985, the tv-movie was able to use the original ending in the novel.
The Hays Code is an entire subject/rant in itself, so I'm not going to post any more about it here. Instead, I will suggest that you look it up and if you want to discuss it with me offline, that's fine. I added the theatrical trailer under the cut.
