Ok, I have been thinking about why 'Brokeback' *really* lost at the Oscars and the answer is quite obvious. There is *no way* to turn it into a video game. I mean, think about it. 'Crash' is like the ultimate video game. With only minor tweaking, 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' could be 'Crash: The Video Game'. (The 'Grand Turismo' game doesn't work as well.) I will be very much surprised if it *doesn't* turn into a game in a few months time. It should have been released as one already, maybe as part of the dvd package.(I am sure there is a way to turn BBM into a game, but it would have to be fishing/hunting-oriented, or maybe rodeo--and there is very little chance any company would market it. "You don't go there to fish." Need I say more?) Now 'Jarhead' would be an excellent choice for a video game. There are tons of military games out there. Right now WWII is most predominant (Brothers In Arms, Call Of Duty) but I know I've seen Desert Storm ones. Again, minor tweaking and boom! The $$$$ roll in!

BTW, if anyone wants to yoink this and crosspost it, go right ahead.
