Errand Day

It was past 20 out today, almost 30 so I drove into Hastings w/LeeAnn to drop off my way overdue library book and check the streets there. Hiway 6 and Burlington were ok but 2nd St. and the rest of downtown were rough and slick. Very hard to stop; coming up to stop signs/lights were pretty slippy. There was a lot of traffic. I think that *everyone* must have had the same idea about getting out today. I stopped at Sun Mart on S. Burlington to indulge in a rotisserie chicken (LeeAnn was very good about leaving it alone, I was most proud of her) and that parking lot was a lot rougher and snowpacked than I imagined it would be. Picked up the stuff that didn't sell from the eBay store on Hiway 6 and brought it back. *sigh* I had such hopes for them selling, too. :p Since tomorrow is supposed to be almost 30, I think I will go in again (this time leaving LeeAnn at home) and buy some more minutes for my pre-paid cell phone. I'm down to less than an hour and since I have a few extra $$, I'm going to load up on time; also to check for any deals on "newer" pre-paid cell phones. I have almost all my Christmas cards out now, so if anyone would like a "real" card to show off just let me know. It should get there within 3-5 days.
