Back From eBay or How To Make Fast Money

Ok, anyone want to know how to make some $$$$? Just put a piece of jewelry on eBay and claim it's haunted. Or magick or whatever. I can almost guarantee it will go pretty damn high. See, I collect old turquoise rings and bracelets. The *real* thing, not the synthetic stuff they try and pretend is "real." I never had enough for one of those really cool squash necklaces though. Ah well. So anyway, I was watching this turquoise ring that was listed in the "Everything Else/Psychic Paranormal" section (yes, I know--I need a life) and put a minor bid on it, $19.99. What can I say? I already told you I was a sucker for this kind of ring. Way I figure it, $20 is ok; if I don't like the ring, I'll turn it into a prezzie. Anyhoo, I decided if I could get it at the last minute and so I started back in w/ 3 min. left. Would you believe that ring went for $198.00 ?!? Whoa!!! Damn near $200!!! If I had had more "spare" money, I would have gone higher just to see where it peaked but I didn't. So, the lesson is... um... what is the lesson? How about "how to get some extra money?" Yeah, that'll work. I'm not exactly joking here. ::muses:: I wonder what I could sell...? :::looks around house, reluctantly deciding *not* to sell everything::: I don't really have anything. Damn. But if any of *you* do, then I suggest you give it a shot. Me, I'm gonna look and see what I can, uh, *pitch*, yeah that's right -- *pitch* on eBay. (I feel like such a hustler. ;)
