Checking In, Part 7

la_samtyrI got the gas bill today. It's not too bad, only $57.21. Of course, I also have to pay a $150 deposit along w/it, making a total of $207.21. *sigh* But the deposit is only a one-time thing, so as long as I can keep the bill itself down, I should be ok. I can scrape by--barely! but I think I can do it.
In other news, today is the day that my brother comes to pick up his stuff @1pm. *Hopefully* the weather won't be totally freaky and he'll actually show up. I'm pretty sure he will though, 'cause I know he wants his guns and shit. At least I have a couple of men coming over to make sure that everything goes ok. If it's just me and him (along w/whoever he gets for his posse), there's gonna be trouble. Namely 'cause he wants back in here so fucking bad he can taste it. But when my lawyer told him that wasn't going to happen, he quieted down and didn't argue. *SIGH* To think it has come to this. I am so glad that Mom isn't here to witness this last travesty. It hurts so damn much. I never in a million years thought he'd do something like this. Of course, I didn't know that he'd found a new whore in December of '04 either. If he'd told me, I'd never have let him in here and he knew it. I knew that he and Colleen were having problems but as I've been told many many *many* times before: "You've never been married. What the fuck do you know about anything?" . So I just shut up and let them go their own way. As long as they treated Mom good, I didn't care. But it's all over with now and I just want to be left in peace. I'll still give Josh the same as I gave his sisters for high school graduation; that's only fair. But anything more (like weddings etc.), I don't expect to be a part of. (Yes, I know--I'm not supposed to end a sentence w/a preposition.) Dumbasses -- I rewrote my will completely and they don't get a thing. Not a fucking *thing.* It all goes to the furkids.
