la_samtyrI am getting ready to watch "Candy" in a little bit, which already makes me feel sad. But I'm still watching it.
Family stuff under the cut.
In other news, my aunt is in the hospital in Hastings. She says she will have tests tomorrow because "she has something in her throat." Not sure what that means exactly or just what is wrong with her, other than the fact she looks so much like my mom did, all twisted and bent from severe osteoporosis and probably a lot more that no one wants to admit to right now. I will have to try and get up there tomorrow if at all possible since I doubt if anyone in charge will know anything until then. Meantime I called Ruth S., so that she can call some of the other cousins and maybe someone else can go and visit. Apparently she (my aunt) was taken to the hospital yesterday but no one else knew it. ::SIGH:: There is no point in calling any of the other family right now (especially my aunt in Omaha; otoh, she might already know since they talk on the phone every Sunday -- guess we'll have to wait and see) but I am sure I will making a lot of calls and emails tomorrow.
I am so tired of this year. Enough already!
