la_samtyrI just learned that the price of stamps is going up to 39 cents on Jan. 8th. Meh. I don't mind really, 'cause anyway I look at it, snail mail at 39 cents is a lot cheaper than gas at $2.??/gal. Can't say that I'm surprised 'cause I've been expecting it. So, to borrow an idea from one of my lj sibs, if anyone would like a holiday/Christmas card, just drop me a line w/your snail addy.
Today is actually nice out, compared to the last few days. Still definately cool, but the sun is out. The cats are off te porch but are anxious to get back inside. Not till later though--I need a break. I might run into Hastings to look for ... oh, just to get out, you know? I didn't even realise that it was Friday for awhile; I swear days that are dark and cold send me into partial hibernation. Maybe relocating to the PNW isn't such a good idea after all?
