I managed to scrounge the $$ to put in the gas tank so I got to go into Hastings and visit my auntie. She isn't good. She fell on Sunday, and it didn't do her any good (big surprise there, right?). She is even more scrunched up than my mom was at the end, and that's saying something. Her head is practically laying on her right shoulder and she just... it's not good. (I know, I'm repeating myself. Sorry.) *sigh* My uncle is able to get around a bit better but he seems foggy. Charle thinks he is getting mini-strokes, just like his sister did (again, right before the end.) So yeah, definitely not looking good for them.

Lyn will bring Aunt Lee down on 4 Oct.; Carol will be here a week later. It will be good to see them; I just hope I will be a little bit more moved by then.


This is what I intend to buy for les kitties when I finally get moved. It will be tight but I think I can manage it. The newness and all should help them "bond" to the new place. Well, that's the idea anyway. We'll see.
