Misadventures in Cooking

la_samtyrWhen I got up this morning, I intended to have a nice, relaxing morning brunch. It didn't happen. What did happen was this:
One sleepy, half-awake human
Two destruct-o kittens
Assorted adult cats
Four eggs
Bacon
Milk
Butter
Coffee
and one barky little dog
Could there be a more perfect recipe for disaster? I suppose so, but this works fine, just fine -- thankyouverymuch. (You probably have a very good idea of what went down this morning -- both literally and figuratively -- don't you.)
The furbeings are all fine, though still hiding from what probably sounded like an air-raid siren and the dreaded shop vac. The kitchen survived and is mostly cleaned up. I am sure I will be much more amused by this later on but not right now. Right now I am in a serious state of piss-off and am going to go and sulk for awhile.
