Latest news from the puppies: they traded their back-up goalie for a new guy. *SIGH* Intellectually, I understand this but damn, I'm gonna miss the pup anyway. We got spoiled the last few years, especially w/ Zachariah (sic). He "graduated" last year, I think he went to college. Not positive but the Storm have the bulk of their players go on to. There's only a few who don't (or haven't) and that's *usually* because they played Major Junior in Canada which made them ineligible.

Lots of rain yesterday and nice out today. RL continues on. Still no way to get anywhere or do anything. I'm bored. And frustrated. Right now, I need a nap. Not that I should be sleepy, cause I fell asleep last night about 5:30 and woke up 3 hrs. later and called Sue, catching her in the middle of supper. It's the time zones, ya know. At least when I wake up at night (usually about 2 or 3 am), I don't call anyone. For some reason, they don't appreciate being woken up out of a sound sleep and being scared out of their wits. And for me to say: "Oh, were you asleep?" doesn't help any. (They also don't appreciate being called after 9-10 pm CDT either. Again, very odd. That's just when I'm starting to feel good and want to talk. You see? I *really* need back online, if only so I can find someone to yakk too.

I am still writing sporadically. My newest "victim" is Floppa. So much fun to do mean things to him. It's his eyes--they just beg for it. I only feel mildly guilty. Actually, I will be forever grateful to him for getting a 2 min. penalty in the game where Nazz got hit. Reason why: Ruuts was getting off the ice and pinned Foppa's's arm inside the gate and Foppa got mad at Ruuts as he was trying to get way and started swinging at him. (It's that Swede/Finn thing--gotta love it) So the ref called 2 mins. for "give me back my arm" and my mom said (taking F's side), "That was mean of that other guy to do that to him." And for once, I could honestly (well, more or less) say, "He was just teasing him. He needs to learn how to be teased. That's what was always happening to me when I was in school. Foppa needs to learn to be a good sport and be teased." So that was one argument that I won.
