Another Saturday
Dec. 11th, 2004 11:46 pmStarted off the day buying munchies at the bake sale in town today. Then I went to Hastings and bought stuff I didn't really need. Meh. Yes I know better but what the hell. I honestly am going to start selling some of this stuff.
And from now on, the books that don't get used for trade credit are going to be given to the "Catholic Ladies." They are actually an unofficial branch of St. vincent de Paul, and I like them *a lot* better than the Salvation Army (the Hastings branch of it, anyway). Besides, the SA has no store due to the fire last May and I very much doubt if they start another one. So...
Today was a public skate in Kearney but I didn't have time to go. *However*, I do plan to go tomorrow. I must be nuts--a four hour drive for 2 hours of ice time. Hopefully Linda will go with me. If not, I can manage the drive alone. And today was a really *nice* day as well. Now if only the weather holds...
Oh yeah, I studied car ratings online--gas mileage, crash test ratings etc. By the looks of it, I will almost certainly be getting a Toyota or a Honda. Not until next year though. I can manage another winter until I get the money situation straightened out. Especially since I just renewed the car liscenses and insurance yesterday, while I still had the money to do it.
