Storms... Again

la_samtyrYes, we are having a storm watch until 1am. Meh.
I am reading some old family letters from WWII. They are most illuminating. I am getting a much better understanding of some of the family now. It's a little bit on the too little, too late side but it does make a few things clearer. I just wish I had known some of this sooner. All I can say is: If you ever get a chance to snoop, do it! Most importantly, grab every scrap of paper you can find because people only ever destroy things that makes them look bad in some way. I never snooped around nearly enough when Grandma was alive; of course, she and Mom had eyes like hawks, they always noticed if anything was even a teensy bit out of line. Still, I wish I had.
PS: I am back w/my old ME laptop because the other one acted up. It was working fine and then all at once, nothing. Meh. No more IM's for me which kind of sucks. But since hardly anyone can see my new sn, I just keep it turned off. And since there's storms out, it's probably smarter to keep as much turned off as possible if I have to shut down fast.
