Afternoon Update

la_samtyrI took a long nap this afternoon because I was exhausted; my mind finally shut down long enough to let me get enough sleep to do some good. At least that is what I am hoping.
Yet more pet food warnings/recalls. This is just getting beyond insane. This time, stuff was added to the mixes w/o the companies knowlege and/or consent--at least that is what I am understanding from the reports. Proof that the pet food industry is way overdue for an overhaul. I feel so bad for the owners who are trying to do the right thing and *still* getting screwed. :(
In other news... hmmmmm, no other news I guess. I need to work on fic but I need more sleep first. Today was cool and rainy which probably increased the sleepiness quotient.
EDIT: Before I forget... the NFL draft is tomorrow, which means that *hopefully* once Brady Quinn is chosen by whatever team wants him, I will not have to hear that blasted song "The Mighty Quinn" being played all the time on sports shows. **Please**!!
