I tried posting earlier but with all of the modem/server issues, it didn't work. But since I have temporary access now, I thought I would share this haiku anyway. No author listed, though I noted it as 17th century. Enjoy!

Awaken to me --
I want you for companion,
Sleeping butterfly!

I'm so glad that you like it. :) It made me think of Legolas right away too. ::dreamy sigh:: I wonder if there is a way to incorporate haiku into Middle Earth...
