Today's News and Weather Report

Today is actually nice and warm for a change. I fixed the gap in the gate by using a big chunk of hail screen in an 'S' form and braced up a few weak spots in the fence. Now my new little doggie can run around instead of being on a leash all of the time. He still doesn't have a name yet though his temporary one is "Little Man" because the City wouldn't issue a license w/o a name. The vet, otoh, has no problem with waiting for the new name. Next month he goes in for *the operation* as well as getting chipped and the rest of his shots.

Yesterday I had a dr. appointment and everything was more or less ok. Did a few errands as well but I made sure to get home early because it gets super-cold super-fast when the sun starts to go down.

And in other news... hmmm. Tomorrow is supposed to be as nice as today weather-wise, and it will stay that way until Saturday when it will start to get cold again. I might try and see a movie if I can though "The Hobbit" is no longer playing around here though it might turn up at one of the second-run theatres so there is that to look forward to -- except they usually only show the movies at night. So, we shall see I guess.

Writing continues, as usual. Progress is made even if it is slower that I'd like.
