Today's News and Weather Report

I had Serious Business in Hastings today but the wind is blowing way too freakin' hard to go in, so everything is on hold until Monday. Not sure sure exactly what the wind speed is but it has to be at least 30+ mph, with gusts that are easily over 40 mph [and probably even higher.] That means I would probably end up sliding off the road or flipping the car.

In other news, I am fixing hot soup for lunch.

ETA: The local news is reporting that there are several gusts over 50 mph and warning people about driving (especially high profile vehicles, which includes my Blazer.) I am not the least little bit surprised.
