Yes I'm Still Here

First, this is to let every know that I am ok *at this point in time*, despite what you may have seen on the Weather Channel or other news shows. Mega-storms blew threw here about 5pm and more rain about an hour after that; of course we lost electricity. I was trapped in Hastings during this (my cousins stuck me with damned clothes shopping *again* but I'll talk about it later). Got the lights back around 9pm and I *just walked in the house, so I am just getting around to posting now. Plus the furkids had to deal with the storm alone, so they are demanding extra time. *And* there are more storms building along the CO/KS/NE border which could be just as nasty. We shall see. Nothing trumps Mother Nature.

My little dog is bringing out all her squeak toys to remind me how much more desirable she is than my 'puter and my cat is demanding that I meditate on the meaning of purr. How very zen of her.
