About The NHL Draft

One of the Storm puppies, Patrick White, was taken in the first round by Vancouver (1/25, irrc). And although none of the other local (Storm) puppies were drafted, I heard about 6 or 7 other USHL players were drafted, 3 of them by the Avs. So this means, there is a fairly good chance that I probably got to see some of them them play *in person*! :) White, btw, is going to U of Minn. on scholarship! :) All very very cool for me since, as you know, I hardly ever get to see anything beyond puppy games and I have to admit, the local news stations do a damned good job of reporting the team. And as we all know, any coverage at a local level, especially in a very non-traditional market area, is A Very Good Thing Indeed.
