Saturday Fun

Today was another good day. I got a postcard from (my cousin) Carol B., who is vacationing in Alaska w/her husband Paul. Sounds like they are having fun, and yes, I wish I was with them.

So nice to check my bank account online and not see red type. :)

Went into Hastings and returned tapes. Then went to the Catholic ladies to see what I could find. No books but I did find some other stuff (as always.) A nice little slim radio/cassette player for $5, which is good since I put my cds on tape. Tape doesn't skip like cds do and besides, I have lost enough stuff. Plus I can afford "C" batteries. The cd/radio combos use "D" which are more expensive and more likely to be stolen. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford an iPod. Or not, I'm not as music crazy as I once was, probably because my very best stuff usually got stolen. Feh.

Oh yeah, I got a window screen repair kit at Big G; I'll probably fix it tomorrow.

When I got home I was just knackered, so I laid down and took a nap for about 3 hrs. Don't know why I was so tired, just that I was. Could it be that it's been the fact I've stayed up till after 2am the last week? Surely not. XD

Ok, time to go to sleep *again*.

Almost Forgot

I found an offical Evil Empire t-shirt today. Paired w/my "cutesy" necklace which has pink rhinestones in the logo (I know! I know! It was a b'day gift that I can't get rid of for awhile yet), I will begin to renew my focus once more. We shall see. [vbeg]
