Today's News
May. 14th, 2006 09:47 pmIt was supposed to be about 70 and very sunny. It wasn't. More like 55-60 and cool, the wind came up and made it even chillier. Yuck. Figures.
On a more positive note, Shockey came over and put up a nice fence for LeeAnn. Yes!!! Now I can let her run once in awhile and not have to wonder if she'll get out; I also don't have to keep her constantly leashed. LeeAnn spent most of the time barking at the construction of her pen--(I assume to indicate her approval)--lol. Once it was up and secure, I let her run around so I could watch and see if there were any weak spots. (There weren't. Yet.) She preferred to roll on her back more than anything, which reminds me that I need to pick up the "fancy" flea & tick stuff from the vet.
When I let Mulanne out, she didn't seem able to get over the fence so I opened the gate for her. Her right back leg seems to be getting worse, she hardly touches it to the ground. *sigh* Damn, I really hate that but since it seems that she *might* become another "official" cat, I need to save the money for her FLIV test first, *then* the shots and spay. ::groans:: Plus there are her kittens to consider as well. The kittens were quiet and slept most of today; at least, they were whenever I peeked. Whatever is wrong happened before I "claimed" her, so I doubt if there will be much that a vet can do. And to be honest, I need to save any extra money for my emergency vet fund. Oh well.
As for other news, there is none.
