Quick Update

Well, Mom is still in hospital. Linda came up and so I left at warp speed before anyone could stop me any further. FWIW--either there are lots of people there all at once or hardly anyone is there. *SIGH* Damn. I just had to get some clean clothes, etc. and I think I will pick up my dirty stuff and put it in the trunk of the car so that I can just was stuff in Hastings at the local laundromat. There is so much to do here at home and so damned little time. Plus I am trying not to drive any more than absolutely necssary.

As for Mom's condition... I don't know. I honest to God don't. She isn't very good, obviously but she seems to rally at times and then others... Dr. doesn't quite know what to think either. "Fair" is the best way to describe her condition I guess.

So now I am home for my two or three hour "visit", which is just barely enough to drive home, get mail, check messages, feed animals, water plants, etc. etc. before taking off again. Wel, I am just going to stay here for until 5 or so before leaving. I simply have to. LeeAnn doesn't understand what's happened, and she's *so* bonded to us that I have to spend a bit of time w/her, and Bidd too. Maybe take a quick bath as well. Sleeping in one's clothes is not exactly chic and I've been in these for two days. Gah. So, off to grab clean stuff to wear, dirty stuff to pack up and that's all for now.
