Errands--and A Hair Cut! Finally!!

Well, today was yet another *long* day. I wanted to get an early start but I had to wait for Lawrence Miller to show up so I could pay on the storage bill. I *said* 10 am; *he* went to have coffee w/friends and showed up 45 min. late. So that wrecked my plans to go into GI. :P Well, at least he got some money, maybe he'll shut up for awhile now.

Got the wiring Shockey wanted at Big G; then straightened things out at the phone company. *Double* :p for that one! Ah well...

Then I went to get a simple hair cut, and not a single place in Hastings would take a walk-in--it seems you need an *appointment*! Grrrr! I mean, just a *haircut*? No styling, no fancy work, just a plain and simple cut? Nope, not one single place--unless, of course, I wanted to wait and see if something opened up. >:-( So I went ahead, came home and started chopping away. Mom is helping even some bits out and help remove some of the bulkiness so it doesn't look like I stuck my finger in a light socket.

Saw Shockey about 5 pm at his shop and asked when he would be around to do the wiring and he said late tomorrow or sometime Sunday. *eyeroll* Yeah, like I haven't heard *that one* before! Oh let it be true! *Please* have him show up--*please*!

Toeless is napping on my lap/keyboard shelf while I wait to see if/when Jesse shows up for supper. He had to work a slightly different shift today, and he didn't quite know when he'd be off. At any rate, I am enjoying the peace and quiet here while it lasts.
