Updating Stuff

Jesse came over last night and it sounds as if he and Colleen are going to split for sure. Maybe not. In any case, she has run up credit cards to the tune of about $20 K. Worse, this is the third time she's done it. Jess paid everything up twice before and warned her about doing it again but... *SIGH* I don't know what to think, I really don't. :( Jess is going to move back w/me for the time being, at least until he can figure out what he's going to do. He's planning to talk to a lawyer and hopefully something can be salvaged from all of this. I have no idea what she's spent it on--it's not clothes or jewelry or even fine art/antiques. I guess she's not saying either. I feel bad for both of them, I really do. They have worked so hard to get ahead and now it's back to square one. I am beginning to wonder if she gambles or something. *Something*. Jesse claims that she told him once she shops when she's depressed; if so, she's overdue for counselling.
