1. I *love* the movie 'Casablanca.' **Love** it!! I have a couple vhs copies around someplace, at least one dvd copy and I watch it on tv every time it's showing, even if it's just the last few minutes.
2. I have about a gazillion books. Books of every size and shape on every subject you could possibly imagine. Seriously. And I'm not talking romance novels either but *books*. If you need a book on a subject, ask me and I might very well have it.
3. I love to travel by train. Sadly, my travelling days are over now.
4. I am a conspiracy believer. You name the conspiracy and I'll tell you why I believe it.
5. I used to fight w/a sword. My high school boyfriend's mom had inherited some old calvary swords from her great-grandfather, and us kids would wait until she left and then take them out and fight. With the sort of luck that is supposed to attend fools and usually doesn't, none of us were ever hurt. Bruised yes, but not cut. His mom wondered why the upstairs hallway was getting so beat up but she never would have found out about it until his little sister tattled. For some strange reason, she freaked out and sold the swords and that was the end of a great pasttime. Damn.
6. I have no sense of fashion. My Angeleno cousins were horrified when they decided to go through my closet last fall. I have no idea why, my stuff is clean and mostly in good repair but they said it looked as if I had raided the del Mar family mud room. Hah, I wish. I could have made a fortune selling the stuff on eBay.
