Some of you may have read that "Writing under a male name makes you eight times more likely to get published, one female author finds."

This is certainly one of those very annoying things that, sadly, doesn't surprise us.

Discussing it with someone last week I came up with a way to

Discover your 'male author name'.

All you have to do is take the surname of the writers of the last two things you read and combine them...

So mine would be Elliot Carter.
