Movie Today

I think about *everyone* decided to go to PotC 2 today. The theatre was probably 90% full. Not packed (though the special midnight show might have been) but definitely full. The movie is lots of fun and just a good time. There are times when I just want to relax at the movies and not watch scary ones or "chick flicks" or even worse, movies that are considered *comedies.* Meh. They (studios) wouldn't know a comedy if it came giftwrapped. Unfortunately, the comedies make money (how I'm not sure, most of them are dreck in my book) and so it goes. Ok, sorry for getting OT. PotC 2 has lots of lovely slashiness in it too. Loads and loads of it. Jack/Will are teh pretty boys--Yum! :) Must go check out some of the PotC sites. (No, this does not mean I am abandoning my *other* pretties--Brokeback got me good and it's not letting go yet. Not sure if it ever will, either.)

Ok, off to play w/teh pretty boys now. O;)

EDIT: I'm going to have to see PotC 2 again. Just found out that you need to stay till the very end of the credits to find out the fate of one of the characters. Usually I do but they brought the house lights up too soon.
