1. Strangest event that has ever happened to you, I mean something so weird you still don't get it but you know that the answer just might blow your mind at the very least, or perhaps shred the space/time continuum!!!!
Well, I've been followed by UFO's several times, and I know on at least two occasions a ghost has materialized beside me.
But probably the weirdest was when *something* was outside my window one night. What it was, I'm not sure but I do know it was sent by the Dark One (probably with a little help from my ex-from-hell) to get me (or harass at the very least) and it was definitely looking for a way in the house. My cat Lucky was right beside me and woke me up (probably around 2-3 am, I can't be sure of that.) It was summer and my screen window was open and she was just rigid, staring out the window with back arched and hair all frizzed -- she was guarding me. I managed to get it to go away by 'singing' one of the Psalms over and over till I knew it had left, and I was never bothered after that.
2. Funniest book or movie you've ever enjoyed!
Funniest book: "The Unicorn In The Garden" by James Thurber. (Ok, so it's a short story but it's still *funny*!)
Funniest movie: Slapshot. (It was hard to choose between this and "Animal House" but hockey season just started. This is one of Paul Newman's best roles *ever* and yet it is seldom ever shown in one of his "festivals" on TCM. Pity, that.)
3. Favorite historical figure?
Emily Dickinson. (It should come as no surprise that I admire her a great deal -- you probably saw that coming a mile away.)
4. Ever pull an awesome prank?
Erm, yes. Yes I have. Mostly I limit myself to seeing if I can get my cousin Carol to believe something weird, such as the famous Platte River Salmon Hatchery at UNK.
5. Craziest thing you've ever done?
That's hard to say, it really is. ::thinks:: Sorry, I can't think of anything right now. I guess I'll have to edit later on. (Stupid, otoh... )
