Actually, RL has eaten up a huge chunk of this week. I am getting ready for fall -- I have the feeling it will get cold *fast* and I want to be ready, especially because the gas bill is a real budget-breaker. ::shudders:: hopefully I can hold off until the truly *cold* weather hits but that's kind of iffy. I have known it to start "chilling" in mid-October, so... we shall see.

I have finally found someone I can work with on the outdoor yard work -- such a relief. Far too many either don't show up at all, or only work a short time. I need to get up earlier and get more done but that just isn't happening here. It would help if I went to bed before 2-3 am but oh well. As it is, I am usually waking up about 10 am at the earliest, usually closer to 11 am or noon. Ugh. With all of the yard work, I have been chewed up by mosquitoes and chiggers, and I *itch* like crazy. There is "itch-stop" gunk I use which works, but it's expensive.

More to post but I must go now if I intend to see Auntie and Uncle today. Back later on.

For mosquito bites I always rub the bite with a bar of soap. It's better if the bar has been sitting in water in a soap dish for a while and you get that really gooey mix in the dish. That gooey soap is great for mosquito bites. Dab it on and after the soap dries, no more itch.

Can't help with the chiggers - have never experienced them. Not sure we even have chiggers up here!
