Quick Update

So, got to 'Ladies Night' and had a lot of fun. Puppies lost--damn! They tried but sometimes, ya know, the zebras just have their own agenda. Oh well, we'll get 'em next time. At least Omaha didn't get a shut-out. But it was fun anyway. It's good for me to get away from home. (Now if I could just get out of the States!) Almost *didn't* get there, 'cause Linda drove the Bronco and it stalled in Hastings. Lucky that Sam hadn't left for work, so he came and started it (dirty posts, of all things) so we got there in plenty of time. Did some quick scrounging/shopping at the local thrift stores there and I found a *new* soft-sided laptop case for $2.50. I mean, we are talking *mint* here, people. So I snaffled it up pronto and have now been arranging (sic) my stuff in it. :)
