I really *seriously* overslept this morning, didn't even twitch till almost 11am. Yikes!

I am waiting for stupid car racing to be over so they will bring on the local news and weather. Feh. (I ha8 Nascar.)

In other news, I have things ready to go so that I can put things in the crockpot later on. Since it's not a lot, I can wait until tomorrow am or it will be vastly overcooked (and there's little worse than that!) I bought fresh potatoes and onions because I was out. I wish I had bought more onions though. And I forgot to buy carrots. *sigh* Oh well.

I went over to CC today so that I could go to their library book sale. *Tons* of kids books, not too many others. I looked for my "lost ones" but no luck. I got a few anyway though plus a couple of adult books for possible trade credit. No scifi/fantasy though -- either it was cleaned out early or they just didn't have any. But since I didn't get there until so late (plus they had it yesterday afternoon, darn), I'll just have to assume I missed out. According to the ladies running it, one of the reasons there were more people buying this year is so that they won't have to worry about overdue books and library fines. Huh.

Time for me to go and sleep now. Niters!

My title is: An Afternoon in the Garden of Extravagant Delight. This actually came out of a failed vid I attempted on my old computer. I was using the music "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune" (Debussy) for some of the scenes from "Candy" in the spring of last year. Unfortunately, it didn't work out (it was eaten), though I salvaged the title anyway. I've thought of changing it to French but I'm afraid that would make people think I'm actually *fluent* in the language.

My subtitle is: "Sounds of laughter shades of life" -- I just added this one. Most of you should recognize the song it's from.
