Today's News
May. 19th, 2009 08:24 pmMatt A. came from Hastings to mow the lawn. Wow, that kid ('kid' being a somewhat relative term since he is in his twenties -- while I am not, heh heh) *really* knows how to do a job *right*! Only 2 1/2 hrs., including trimming. I told him not to bag it, because there had been several rains and really hot weather, which meant that the grass didn't just grow, it went *Sproing*!!! It was -- and I am not kidding -- about halfway to my knee.
The outdoor kitties are not overly happy since they lost most of their nice jungle but I am very relieved since it means that the City will not being getting excited. It behooves one to make sure that the City does not get overly excited or upset, oh yes it does indeed.
The cable guy came out to fix on the cable *again*, after yesterday's visit did not seem to resolve the issue. I told the tech center I was going to be gone, and they said to unhook the black cable and keep it plugged in, so they could watch the signal strength from their end. (Or something like it anyway, I kind of forget now.) *Anyway*, logging online is like night and day -- so darn smooth! and I don't have to wait forever either. ::happy sigh::
No other news for now, instead I will maybe write.
