What's New

As per usual, nothing besides wishing like hell I could be in V w/my XF sibs, who are getting together this weekend. I so wanted to be there, really I did. But as usual, no luck for me this year. ::SIGH:: Oh well, maybe another year (unlikely as hell, but I need to hope). What makes it worse is that my cousin Paul was "just there", as I got a postcard from him. Couldn't see the date or postmark though, so I'm not sure *when* he was there. Damn.

It's bitter cold out today. It froze last night and the temps aren't very high either, especially when you consider the wind chill. Sounds like it will freeze again tonight and probably tomorrow before it warms up for the weekend or thereabouts. Needless to say, I am bored *and* tired, which is not a good combination. Still no way to watch my dvds, which is majorly pissing me off. If I could only fins those damn manuals! I am beginning to think the sound problem is in the tv, because the volume seems to be kinda bouncy at times. Personally, I intended to buy a different model (something recommended by Consumer Reports) but this is what Mom chose and I don't really have a legit reason to replace it. Just because I can't hear dvds... and the hell of it is, there might be a way to straighten the volume out--if I could only find the manual. Meh.
