Today's News (Oscars)

Well, 'Brokeback' didn't win nearly as much as it should have and these are the reasons why. 'Crash' won BestPicture because it was racially diverse and there was very little racial diversity in the nominations this year. (The C.Rap song, whatever-the-fuck it was called won for the same reason; also to bolster the ratings by drawing aforementioned racially diverse audience.) AdorableJake lost to Clooney, because Clooney had to win *something*, with three nominations. Heath lost to PSH because PSH played a caricature -- not a real character, and we all know that gay men - and women - are nothing *but* caricatures. Yes, I am pissed. Yes, I am a sore loser. I am restraining myself most wonderfully, I will have you know if only so that my writings/actions do not somehow reflect badly on 'Brokeback' but I suppose I will still have managed to disappoint/annoy/irritate/piss off/anger, etc. etc. some of my friends by what I have written here. For which I *am* sorry. Seriously. But there are times like this when I get pissed and my mouth overloads my brain. I do try to overcome my background but I think it will be much easier for me to just reincarnate instead. *SIGH* So, apologies to everyone.
