The Weather

Yes, I'm back to complaining about the weather. It was cloudy, overcast and chilly today. Yuck! And yesterday was so pretty, too. It did rain about 3pm but then it cleared off. Now, according to the weather man, it s turning *cold* again, with possible snow. I need to turn the furnace up more but I'm going to wait until actual snow comes. It's been ok-ish, so I turned it down. Needless to say, the furkids are curled up with me as much as is possible. The bill is gonna be a bitch, I just *know* it. I might as well get used to the idea. I discovered a few more Christmas cards that need to be sent but I'm still ahead of them. The awkward thing is, I am now taking a nap about 5:30pm because if I *don't*, then people will come and bang on the door to visit. And just how do they know I'm up, even though I have the lights off and am happily vegging out in front of the tv for a few? Why, the tv of course. Remember how some shows have those nice *Bright* flashy changes of scene, etc? Yup, that's how they know I'm up. Lucky for me the last one who stopped in *told* me that was how they knew I was "really awake and wanted company." Arrgh! So now this weird little nap is totally screwing up my sleep pattern (such as it is). I can't watch the evening news or anything really, just curl up and go to sleep.

Looks like it's time for me to play with my fics a little, so until tomorrow...
