Moodiness

Well, I am just sort of brooding right now--no special reason, I just am, I guess. The bright spot of the weekend was seeing S back online. I still am not seeing her w/this new sn, though. Hopefuly she will be able to see/fine me on here.

I guess what got me started was thinking (or I should say, trying to think of) a title for one of my fics. I started by referring to it as "evilfic" but I need a better title than that. There's lots of karma at work in it, and karmic payback, reincarnation themes, etc. etc. So I tried to think of a song that might work and I got kind of stuck thinking about all the great songs I love so well. Most of them are 50's-60's, it seems. With my hearing loss I listen to very little music nowadays. Oh, I'm not totally deaf, I can hear but the loss is quite noticeable to me.

I was watching a promo thing on tv for a "greatest hits" compilation by Cher and "Walking In Memphis" always puts me in mind of the XFiles ep--"The Great Mutato" or something of the sort. Damn,I should be able to come up w/the ep name...oh well... :/

I so often get stuck thinking of of Beatles tunes. I guess I probably always will. Right now "Watching The Wheels" is playing in my mind so I guess I will go look for my cd of it.
